The tool is equipped with geophones or accelerometers.
The frequency range is from 60 to 2000 Hz, if equipped with omnidirectional geophones (OYO GS-14-L9 with sensitivity 600 mV/ips and pre-amplification gain of 50 or 100) and 60 Hz - 8000 Hz, if equipped with accelerometers (RION PV-17A with sensitivity 50 pC/g (55 mV/g), and pre-amplification gain of 50 or 100).
One component is directed along the hole, while the others are perpendicular to the hole and to each other. The standard distance between the modules is 5 m.
The units are equipped with side-arms for clamping, activated by DC motors. The clamping control is independent for each unit.
OThe receivers' chain is designed for holes with minimum diameter of 46 mm. The maximum diameter, with standard length arms, is 150 mm. The maximum depth is 1500 m. Technical solutions for deeper investigation range can be offered if specially required.
